Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a Japanese anime television series based on the manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. The anime television series adaptation by Ufotable was announced in Weekly Shōnen Jump on June 4, 2018.[1] The series aired from April 6 to September 28, 2019, on Tokyo MX, GTV, GYT, and BS11.[2][3] The series is directed by Haruo Sotozaki, and the series’ characters were designed by Akira Matsushima. The show is written by various Ufotable staff members and produced by Hikaru Kondo.[4] The show’s music is composed by Yuki Kajiura and Go Shiina.

Kafka Hibino is a 32-year-old member of the Professional Kaiju Cleanup Corp. His job as a Monster Sweeper is to chop up and dispose of Kaiju killed by the Defense Force. Kafka was also childhood friends with Mina Ashiro who he made a vow with to join the Defense Force together and protect Japan from Kaiju. Witch Watch (Japanese: ウィッチウォッチ, Hepburn: Witchi Wotchi) is a Japanese fantasy and romantic comedy manga series written and illustrated by Kenta Shinohara. Bleach (stylized in all caps) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tite Kubo. It follows the adventures of a teenager Ichigo Kurosaki, who inherits his parents’ destiny after he obtains the powers of a Soul Reaper—a death personification similar to the Grim Reaper—from another Soul Reaper, Rukia Kuchiki. His new-found powers allow him to take on the duties of defending humans from evil spirits and guiding departed souls to the afterlife, and set him on journeys to various ghostly realms of existence.

Bleach was serialized in Shueisha‘s shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from August 2001 to August 2016, with its chapters collected in 74 tankōbon volumes. The series has spawned a media franchise that includes an anime television series adaptation that was produced by Tokyo-based studio Pierrot from 2004 to 2012, two original video animation (OVA) episodes, four animated feature films, ten stage musicals, and numerous video games, as well as many types of Bleach-related merchandise. The novel has been licensed in English by Yen Press. A webtoon adaptation of Solo Leveling was first serialized in KakaoPage on March 4, 2018; it was illustrated by Jang Sung-rak (aka Dubu), the CEO of Redice Studio, who died on July 23, 2022, after suffering from a cerebral hemorrhage. The webtoon’s first season concluded on March 19, 2020, and its second season began on August 1, 2020, concluding in December 2021 with its 179th chapter. Its individual chapters have been collected and published by D&C Media into seven volumes as of February 2023. The webtoon has been licensed in English by Yen Press. A role-playing video game is in development at Netmarble. An anime television series adaptation by A-1 Pictures is set to premiere in Q1 2024.
